Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of BookTkit. By accessing the platform, creating an account, publishing an event, or completing a booking, you agree to these terms and any event-specific conditions shown before purchase. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
User Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential, and promptly update material account details. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you notify us of unauthorised use.
We may restrict or suspend accounts involved in fraud, misuse, unlawful conduct, security threats, or material violations of these terms. Organiser capabilities may require additional onboarding and verification.
Event Listings
Event information—including schedules, venues, age restrictions, accessibility, seating, performers, ticket categories, and cancellation terms—is supplied or approved by the organiser. Organisers must keep listings complete, accurate, lawful, and current. BookTkit may review, reject, unpublish, or remove listings that breach platform rules or applicable law.
Ticket Bookings
A booking is confirmed only after the platform records successful payment and issues a booking confirmation or ticket. Adding tickets to a selection, choosing seats, or starting payment does not guarantee availability.
Ticket limits, sales windows, seat availability, event instructions, age restrictions, and entry requirements shown during booking form part of your purchase. Review all details before paying.
Payments
Prices and applicable platform fees are shown before checkout. Payments may be handled by Razorpay or another disclosed payment provider and are subject to that provider’s processing requirements. You authorise the displayed charge when you submit payment. Never share a CVV, OTP, UPI PIN, or password with BookTkit, an organiser, or support personnel.
QR Codes and Entry
Tickets and QR codes are booking credentials. Keep them secure and do not duplicate, resell, publish, or share them unless transfer is expressly permitted. A QR code may be accepted only once. Admission may also require matching identification, age proof, compliance with venue rules, and arrival within the stated entry window.
Organiser Responsibilities
Organisers are responsible for:
- Their event’s legality, permissions, content, safety, staffing, venue, accessibility, and delivery.
- Accurate listings, prices, seat layouts, capacity, refund terms, and attendee communications.
- Completing required identity, business, payment, and payout onboarding before using relevant features.
- Honouring valid tickets and promptly managing schedule changes, cancellations, attendee issues, and eligible refunds.
- Using attendee information only for legitimate event operations and protecting it appropriately.
User Responsibilities
Users must provide accurate booking information, review event rules, arrive on time, protect tickets, and behave lawfully at events. You must not interfere with the platform, attempt unauthorised access, automate purchases unfairly, evade ticket limits, misuse refunds, or use tickets obtained through fraud.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and refund eligibility varies by event, timing, organiser policy, and the reason for cancellation. The policy displayed for the event and our Return & Refund Policy apply. Platform or booking fees may be non-refundable for user-initiated cancellations. Refunds are not instant and remain subject to payment provider and banking processing.
Platform Limitations
BookTkit provides technology for event discovery, ticketing, payment coordination, and event operations. Unless expressly stated, BookTkit is not the organiser, venue, performer, or promoter and does not control how a third-party event is delivered.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, that every event will proceed as advertised, or that third-party services will always be available. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Intellectual Property
The BookTkit platform, branding, interface, software, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Organisers retain responsibility for content they upload and grant BookTkit the limited permission needed to host, display, promote, and operate their listings. Users must not copy or exploit protected material without permission.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms to reflect service, legal, security, or operational changes. The updated version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the platform or by email where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date means the updated terms apply to future use.
